Mah Jong Solitaire 2 is the best choice for Mah Jong on the Mac. No other Mah Jong game has this kind of quality and variety in games and tile sets. Moonlight Mahjong on Mac OS X is not compatible with Ink handwriting recognition. At the moment the only workaround for this appears to be to turn off handwriting recognition while playing the game. First quit the Moonlight Mahjong app, then open the Settings app, select Ink, and turn off Handwriting Recognition. Then re-launch the Moonlight Mahjong app. You can turn handwriting recognition back on when you need it again.
Objectives vary from level to level and pieces are arranged differently every time you replay it. Finding all the required pairs without being blocked is not easy, but you can always use helpful powerups to solve even the trickiest layouts.
